On January 23, 2014, I retired from my job at FSA in Dodgeville. The next day I was asked to help with counting money for the church. This quickly led to being the bookkeeper for the parish. Then in 2023, I was asked to become the Administrator for the Parish. Now after 11 years of serving the parish, I have decided that it is time for me to allow someone else to have the privilege of helping. Therefore, on June 27, 2025, I will be stepping down as bookkeeper and Administrator of St. Andrew-Thomas Parish. It has been a great privilege for me to be able to help for the past 11 years, and my enjoyment came with helping all of you in the parish in any way that you required. We were overjoyed to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Fr. Sudhakar Reddy Devarapu's Ordination to the Sacred Priesthood of Jesus Christ yesterday with a beautiful Mass, delicious food and lots of wonderful people. We are very grateful that Bishop Donald Hying, many priests, and lots of father's friends and parish members were able to join us for the day. A huge & hearty THANK YOU to Gary Mumm and crew for preparing the delicious chicken and to Melanie Mergen and all of the fantastic volunteers from the parishes who helped to set up, serve the meal and cleaned up afterward. Thank you to everyone who brought desserts. The food was fabulous!!! A very special thank you to Jane Patterson and the choir members from our parishes for the amazing music for the Mass. We are very grateful to everyone who helped with the Mass especially Deacon Roger Scholbrock and Bill Manthe and the servers. Thank you to Donna Bark, Kim Vogt, Cathy Martin and helpers for the lovely flowers and making the church look stunning for the Mass. Join Us for a Rosary Walk Between ShrinesA Journey of Faith and Fellowship to honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary
We are delighted to invite you to a special Rosary Walk, a peaceful and prayerful journey connecting two sacred shrines. Both shrines have been declared Pilgrimage sites for the Jubilee Year of Hope by Bishop Donald Hying. This event is an opportunity to deepen your faith, share in fellowship with others, and honor the beauty of prayer in motion.Event Details
- Date: Saturday, June 14th, 2025, 9:00am Mass
- Starting Point: Shrine of the Green Scapular / Immaculate Heart of Mary Church – 501 Scholfield St., Monona
- Ending Point: Schoenstatt Founder Shrine, 5901 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison
- Time: The walk begins following Mass at IHM Church. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
- Distance: Approximately 4 miles
What to Expect
Participants will gather at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Mass at 9:00am. Visit the Shrine of the Green Scapular. As we walk together, we will recite the Rosary, pausing at intervals to reflect on the mysteries. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to enjoy moments of quiet contemplation as well as an uplifting sense of community.
The walk will conclude at the Schoenstatt Founder Shrine with a closing prayer and an opportunity for blessings. Refreshments will be provided.
Transportation from the Schoenstatt Shrine to IHM to pick up your vehicles will be provided.What to Bring
- Comfortable walking shoes suitable for the distance
- Your rosary beads
- A bottle of water to stay hydrated
- Weather-appropriate clothing, such as a hat or rain gear
How to Participate
This event is open to individuals, families, and groups of all ages. Whether you are a longtime devotee of the Rosary or new to this beautiful tradition, you are warmly welcomed to join us.Let’s come together in faith and prayer as we journey from one shrine to another, reflecting on the mysteries of the Rosary, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and embracing the presence of God in our lives. We hope to see you there!

June 22 - Corpus Christi Procession & Celebration
Members of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish - St. Mary Catholic Church-Fennimore, 960 Jefferson Street, wish to invite fellow Catholics, friends and neighbors to attend our Feast of Corpus Christi Procession and Celebration on Sunday, June 22, 2025. We will celebrate Mass beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a procession of the Blessed Sacrament around the streets of Fennimore for about an hour. Please join us as we celebrate our faith and belief in the Real Presence of the Risen Christ in the most Holy Eucharist.
Beginning at approx. noon, everyone will be able to enjoy grilled sandwiches, homemade potato chips, beverages, pie and ice cream, children’s activities, bingo, bean bags and fellowship in the park across from the Church. Live music will also be available, provided by Tom Jones of Boscobel from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be a raffle drawing at 2 p.m. for cash prizes, gift cards and other prizes. We also have several items for the silent auction including a one-week stay at a timeshare resort, themed gift baskets, pies and much more. Silent auction winners will be announced at approx. 2:30 p.m.
Please join us for a day of celebration on Sunday, June 22.

MDCCW Annual GatheringWomen are invited for a special spiritual day of renewal Saturday, June 28, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Cross Plains. Building upon the Catholic Church’s 2025 Jubilee - Pilgrims of Hope, the Madison Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (MDCCW) chose “Renewing Hope in Christ” for the theme of its 70th annual gathering.
Bishop Donald J. Hying will be the main celebrant and homilist for the late morning Mass. Concelebrating with him will be Father Scott Jablonski, host pastor; Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt, MDCCW Spiritual Advisor; and other attending priests. Dr. ValLimar Jansen, an internationally renowned singer, storyteller and songwriter, will engage the audience as she shares her gifts.
